Batman & Robin is a 1997 American superhero film directed by Joel Schumacher and is based on the DC Comics character Batman. The cast of the film consists of Arnold Schwarzenegger, George Clooney, Chris O'Donnell, Uma Thurman, Alicia Silverstone, Michael Gough, Pat Hingle, and Elle Macpherson. It serves as a sequel to the 1995 film Batman Forever and is the fourth entry in the initial Batman.
